WWE's 53 Wrestlers Ranked From Worst To Best

9. Triple H (The On-Screen Character & Wrestler)

wwe roster
Muscle and Fitness

Pros:

1. Can still work very well in the ring, despite being semi-retired

2. Can magically be a heel on RAW and SmackDown, while being cheered in NXT

3. Has a masterful understanding of ring psychology

Cons:

1. Cuts very long, sometimes boring promos

2. Takes up too much time on RAW, just like his wife

3. Just doesn’t look like such a badass without the long hair

Triple H is an interesting character. He wrestles very rarely, but when he does, he puts on a great performance. Furthermore, even though he’s getting constant praise from fans for his excellent work in NXT, he does an excellent job of getting fans angry on RAW.

However, if there’s one downside to Triple H that hasn’t changed all these years is that he cuts some of the longest promos on a regular basis, with some even going on for 20 minutes. Even on a 3-hour show, that’s way too long to speak.

Also, the whole ‘authority figure’ thing is getting a bit insignificant. But because of stakeholder pressure, we’re forced to have these long segments on a regular basis, which have to include Triple H and/or Stephanie.

So while Triple H the wrestler is still good, and Triple H the mastermind behind NXT is great, Triple H the on-screen character is getting stale and needs to give someone else the spotlight instead.
