Pros:

1. The best wrestler in the company…and possibly the world

2. The most popular WWE Superstar in the entire company

3. Can make others look great just by working with them

Cons:

1. Is getting older

2. Riddled with injuries

3. WWE doesn’t want to push him heavily because of his serious neck injury and subsequent rehab

Daniel Bryan is by far the most technically-sound wrestler on the entire WWE roster, and was considered the best wrestler on the entire planet for many years. Since 2013, he has been arguably the most popular wrestler on the roster as well, receiving some of the loudest ovations and most sustained ‘Yes’ chants imaginable.

Sadly, even Bryan has his downsides. Most of them are injury-related, as his major neck surgery and subsequent rehab program put him out of action for the majority of the 2014 calendar year. During that time, there were concerns that his nerve damage was so severe that he could risk severe and permanent damage if something went wrong.

WWE doesn’t want to risk having such a popular and beloved wrestler get hurt on their watch, so they’re taking precautionary measures by having him avoid anything that could possible aggravate his injury, which includes the biggest and most important of matches.

Bryan's currently out of action following reports of yet another injury. Though the results haven't been fully revealed yet, Bryan's future in WWE is very uncertain.
