49. El Torito
Pros:
1. One of the most athletic dwarf wrestlers on the planet
2. More than capable of wrestling someone much bigger than him
3. Can pull off a Hurricanrana better than most people
Cons:
1. Is stuck in a bull costume, and has to pretend like he actually has a tail, and pulling on it actually hurts
2. Usually stuck doing really bad comedy matches with Hornswoggle
3. Could be doing much better in CMLL or AAA
When WWE announced that they signed the man known as Mascarita Dorada, there was hope that he would actually be used properly and would bring some actual entertainment to WWE by having another dwarf wrestler.
Unfortunately, those dreams were destroyed the moment El Torito came down the aisle.
It’s bad enough that Dorada has to wear a bull costume, but for some reason WWE are trying to convince fans that he’s an actual bull, complete with a real tail. This is a man who can perform some of the most impressive Hurricanranas in lucha libre, and he spends his days fighting another dwarf in a gator costume.
Quite frankly, the only reason El Torito ranks higher on this list than Hornswoggle is because he’s actually athletic, and can perform high-flying moves better than most people. But until WWE gets rid of that ridiculous costume, El Torito isn’t likely to go anywhere, especially when they put him in an ‘inter-species tag team match’.
