50. Adam Rose
Pros:
1. Has international wrestling experience
2. Was popular in NXT (as Leo Kruger)
3. It must be nice to have a Party Posse following you all the time
Cons:
1. Worst gimmick of 2014 by far
2. Only works short matches
3. Cannot possibly be taken seriously
Adam Rose had a successful gimmick in NXT, where people would actually react to his shtick because it was a small crowd of 500. On RAW, where there are often crowd of more than 15,000, there was no way that he would be able to make that change successfully.
It was bad enough that he would be part of some really bad segments on his own, especially that one with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. But then WWE turned the stupid meter up to 11 by making 'the Bunny' his partner.
It’s hard to tell what was worse: watching Rose and the Bunny interact in extremely stupid segments, listening to the commentators trying to make this seem funny, or the fact that the man in the Bunny costume was Justin Gabriel.
Rose’s gimmick received the Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Worst Gimmick award for 2014 and rightfully so. It’s ideas like these that make people embarrassed to admit that they watch wrestling. Going forward, hopefully Rose can tweak his gimmick a bit to make it less childish; otherwise, he might be looking at a pink slip in his near future.
