There are a lot of reasons to dislike the Bella Twins. They’re basically veterans in WWE yet seldom have good matches, unless they’re working with a ring general like Natalya or Paige. Their promos are usually boring and disingenuous, and their acting on Total Divas is quite bad in many cases. Finally, there are many people who argue that the two of them ‘slept their way to the top’, given whom they’re in relationships with.

On the other side of things, the Bellas have done a great job of promoting WWE on social media and on a cross-promotional platform. Despite a lot of criticism, Total Divas has helped bring in many new fans to WWE who wouldn’t have looked into the company otherwise. They’re also great merchandise sellers, which helps WWE promote its brand to various different demographics.

Finally, because of all of those criticisms, WWE have a great heel team in the Bellas, because a lot of fans want to boo them for what they have and where they are in the company. At least they have all of that going for them.
