20 Best Matches From WWE's 'C' Shows

1. Mankind Vs. The Rock - Sunday Night Heat

A world title match, on Sunday Night Heat. When people say the Attitude Era was hot, this is what they mean. Granted, this match was a very special attraction, an empty arena match, timed to coincide with the half-time of SuperBowl XXXIII. Even so, it's the Rock and Mick Foley! In a WWE championship match! On Heat!

This match basically encapsulates everything that made the Rock/Foley rivalry great: savage violence, matchless chemistry, and comedic timing. The only thing missing is Foley's kids crying in the front row as their father is murdered on television; your mileage may vary on how big a loss that is.

While we don't get Mankind suffering any permanent injuries, we do get Rock calling part of the match during the match, and then also selling a bag of popcorn like it's filled with broken bottles. Foley ultimately picks up a win by pinning Rock with a forklift. Somewhere, Tom Servo and Crow were no doubt delighted. ¡Olé!
