Hold the presses, internet, because there's hot news on the wire: Renee Young has gotten herself a brand new tattoo.

The WWE Raw announcer shared this picture of her back (complete with the fresh ink) on Instagram this weekend:-

Unlike WWE's other example of image modification this week, Young's tattoo probably wasn't an act of defiance against a company she's trying to engineer her exit from. Her ink is on her back, and therefore unseen on camera, and announcers aren't bound to the same image-based rules and regulations as in-ring performers.

Renee currently finds herself in an interesting position in WWE. Her husband, Dean Ambrose, recently walked away from the promotion after a protracted release that saw him work several televised "farewells," prompting her to pay tribute via airbrushed jacket for The Shield's Final Chapter last week:-

Moved to the Raw announce team in August 2018, she broke ground by becoming the first woman to ever fill that position on a full-time basis, but has fallen victim to the same over-production and over-scripting as her commentary colleagues. A shame, as she has continually proven herself one of the most skilled broadcasters the sport has ever seen.
