8. She's Actually Dead
"Follow the light it will lead you back home" WWE would have some explaining to do if Sister Abigail was to become an on-screen character... Then again, Kane was supposed to be dead before he debuted and he did ok for himself. During a promo not long after the Wyatt's debut on the main roster in the summer of 2013, Bray told a little bit of a back story to Sister Abigail. And during it, he seems to reveal that she was a living person, rather than some sort of spiritual power, that died.
"And I was there, I was there when she took her final breath. She pulled me in close and she said, 'you're the one.' She said, 'They chose you, long before you were ever in existence.' And I understood what she meant."
So it seems that Bray is the one that Abigail nominated to carry out her work after her own demise. He's doing a mightily fine job I'm sure you will agree. When alls said and done Bray was left as some sort of prophesied figure, the incarnation of the one. A Messiah, or an Anti-Christ, if you will.
