10 Directions WWE Can Go After TLC 2015

7. Ambrose Vs. Rusev

What have you done, Dean!? You've taken the Intercontinental Championship from Kevin Owens in under ten minutes, robbing one of the hottest heels in the company of his momentum. What on earth were the booking team thinking? We'll get to Kevin shortly, but Ambrose also finds himself at a similar loose end (once the inevitable rematch is out of the way). A Bray Wyatt title feud would make sense, but for the fact that Dean has already clashed with the New Face of Fear a lot in recent months. Instead, WWE should pair him with Rusev, who defeated Ryback in surprisingly dominant fashion. Both Ambrose and Rusev deserve to be somewhere near the upper reaches of the card, and both can be counted on to deliver a good match when it matters. A straightforward feud between the pair should suffice, and continue to put over the belt as a championship worth having.
