Kevin Owens currently finds himself at a slight loose end, having lost to Dean Ambrose once again. His pursuit of the Intercontinental Championship looks to be coming to an end, particularly after his elimination of AJ Styles from the Royal Rumble match. While a WrestleMania bout between Styles and Owens would set the internet alight (there's also the Sami Zayn issue), there's the small matter of Fastlane to contend with first - and what better way to prepare Owens for the spotlight than with a marquee match against his biggest backstage fan: Triple H. A potential storyline between the two would write itself. Much has been made of Triple H's desire to bring top indie talent to NXT, and Owens still represents the cream of that particular crop. Were he to turn on the Game, the story of a destructive protege turning on his more experienced mentor would prove extremely compelling.
