5 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Monday Night Raw (24 November - Results & Review)

UPS…

5. Maxxine’s Got A Target On Her Back… And Her Front

When Maxxine Dupri defeated Becky Lynch last week to capture the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, it wasn’t just a shocking moment. It made her the biggest target in the women’s division.

Long viewed as a joke and cannon fodder for other wrestlers, Dupri essentially lucked into a title by having Lynch’s number. But immediately after, Maxxine became the focus of every woman on the Raw roster. Monday night, Raw GM Adam Pearce warned her that he had more women approach him about an IC title match than any other title.

Dupri got to experience that firsthand when former friend Ivy Nile returned from obscurity to confront her and declare that the title was hers. Maxxine got three more steps down the corridor when Roxanne Perez (and Raquel Rodriguez) waltzed up, with the Prodigy “congratulating” her before commenting that she “can take it all away from you.”

If anything, they should have had more women walk up to Dupri during that segment – almost to comical effect – to make it clear that one week after the crowning achievement of her career, it’s truly Maxxine against the world.

Wait, Dupri said she’s calling Natalya to train her. You don’t think…
