6 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (8 December - Results & Review)

4. Slow Start, Strong Finish For Iyo And Kairi

In theory, a match involving Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky should be as autopilot of a battle as possible.

In reality, their match on Raw Monday night was almost exactly as expected: quality action that got better and more violent as the bout wore on. After trading some pin attempts and evading each other’s strikes, they began beating one another, with Sky nailing a German suplex on the apron, and Sane caving in Iyo’s chest with a diving double stomp while Sky was trapped in a Tree of Woe.

Asuka and Rhea Ripley predictably started brawling at ringside, but it did not cost Iyo, who managed to put her former friend away with a moonsault.

Good action, right result.
