11 Ways Battleground 2015 Changed WWE's Future

10. Roman Reigns As The New Daniel Bryan Type Babyface

Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt had an average match at Battleground, although it did get more exciting as the action progressed in the closing minutes. The finish was Luke Harper attacking Reigns behind the back of the referee. Bray Wyatt then got the pained babyface back in the ring and hit the Sister Abigail for the win. What WWE are trying to do here is get Roman Reigns over in a different kind of way. They still want him to be the next major babyface, but now they're going to book him to lose and be screwed out of opportunities. The hope is that he'll get over as a Daniel Bryan type babyface. They couldn't get him over when booking him strong, so they may as well try booking him like this, but don't hold your breath on it working. His future as the sympathetic babyface is going to be difficult to manufacture, Bryan's rise was natural.
