1. WrestleMania 32 Needs To Be On Pay Per View
The realisation that Brock Lesnar is given away too cheaply is especially true at WrestleMania. It is WWE's biggest show of the year, yet it retails at the same price as any old B show. If Lesnar was to face Stone Cold Steve Austin or The Rock at next year's show, Dave Meltzer in the wrestling observer newsletter suggested it should be pay per view.
"If you had Austin vs. Lesnar, it also makes no sense to put that on the WWE network, because what appears to be the current show if you add that main event, would be expected to break the all-time pro wrestling record, and Mayweather has already shown people will be willing to pay even more for what they believe to be can't miss events."
He goes on to add "WWE could easily top $39 million (presuming 1.25 million to 1.35 million buys) on PPV alone, which to me is a very conservative estimate, with a $79.99 price tag." The point is that Lesnar is given away too cheaply on the WWE Network. Even if the Network suffered a loss of subscribers due to Mania going back to pay per view, it probably wouldn't be damaging enough to make the move not worthwhile. Brock Lesnar is a five million dollar megastar, it is time WWE started marketing and selling him as such.
