10 Worst Singles Runs From WWE Tag Team Wrestlers

10. Rob Conway

Just look at him... Ain't he a sight to see... Unfortunately for Rob, his timeless classic of a theme song couldn't save him from this list. He jumped into the lives of the WWE Universe in 2003 on Raw. Conway was a plant in the crowd during La Résistance's feud with The Dudley Boyz, finding himself being harassed by the Frenchmen and getting himself onside with the masters of the table. Then, when the brothers Dudley invited him into the ring once more to celebrate their patriotism, he turned on them by smacking them with the American flag's pole and turning into the French sympathiser, Robért Conway. He was a mainstay in the La Résistance team right up until May on 2005, when Conway and Sylvain Grenier couldn't decide who the superior wrestler was. The pair would feud for a little while before Grenier was drafted to SmackDown, leaving Conway to revert back to his original narcissistic heel gimmick on RAW and Heat. Sadly for The Con-man, nothing much came of his singles run. During the WWE Homecoming edition of Raw, Conway interrupted a segment involving a number of WWE Legends, disrespecting them and getting in their face. Needless to say the legends assaulted him. Conway, seeking retaliation, then went on to have matches against a number of the old timers, picking up wins against Doink the Clown, Greg Valentine, and Koko B. Ware. Legends would play a huge part in Conway's career, as he became involved in numerous story lines involving the likes of: Ric Flair, 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan and... Eugene. He would leave WWE after a mammoth losing streak on Sunday Night Heat and RAW in 2007, being fired live on a Monday Night show by Vince McMahon.
