The Damien Mizdow that didn't come off... Haas came to the WWE Universe's attention as part of Team Angle along with Shelton Benjamin. The pair were both outstanding technical wresters and all round great athletes. They fitted the 'Angle' gimmick like a glove and managed to capture two WWE Tag Team Championships along the way. However, when Benjamin was moved to RAW as part of the 2004 draft, Haas was left with little direction. While his former partner was stealing copious amounts of shows with the likes of Shawn Michaels and winning Intercontinental Championships, Charlie had to settle with being shunted into a tag team with Rico, of all people. As bad as that sounds, the pair did manage to win the tag belts. He was then involved in a love triangle with Miss Jackie and Dawn Marie before teaming with Hardcore Holly. Haas was then released from his WWE contract in July 2005. He returned to WWE a year later and the World's greatest Tag Team even got back together for one more run round the block. However, Charlie's true standing in the eyes of the powers that be was there for all to see when he was forced to dress up as a number of famous faces including: John Cena, John "Bradshaw" Layfield, Jim Ross, The Great Khali, MVP, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bret Hart, "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Hulk Hogan and even WWE Diva Beth Phoenix. Flop.
