11. Rey Mysterio - 9 Matches
Rey Mysterio's first SummerSlam match was an exciting encounter with Kurt Angle in 2002, setting the tone for what would be a great decade for him in WWE. His next really great match at the August event was in 2005, when he wrestled Eddie Guerrero in a classic ladder match. The stipulation was that whoever won got custody of Mysterio's son Dominick. That aspect was a bit goofy, but the action was all solid, with Mysterio eventually proving victorious. Frustratingly for Mysterio, his SummerSlam efforts were mainly in the under-card and mid-card after his failed 2006 push. The nine matches are a great record, but only the Angle and Guerrero efforts really stand out.
