When Zack Ryder initially arrived in WWE, he went under the name of Brett Major. As one-half of The Major Brothers with Brian Major (Curt Hawkins), they looked like an enhancement talent from the get-go. In their debut match against Marcus Cor Von and Matt Striker on the 1 May 2007 edition of ECW, it appeared they were going to be beaten quickly and decisively.

Despite scoring a minimal amount of offense, however, the debuting duo somehow scored the victory over the veterans and proceeded to celebrate the giant upset. It was at this point tension was being teased within The New Breed, but still, a win is a win! The careers of Brett and Brian Major were off to a strong start.

Granted, they floundered from that point forward for months on end before forming an alliance with Edge, but not many unknown names can say they have emerged victorious in their first ever WWE match.
