10 Awesome Fan Theories That Improve The X-Men Movies
10. Deadpool Will Remember A Completely Different Life To The One He's Lived
There is a theory regarding the upcoming rebooted Deadpool AKA Wade Wilson character that could explain just why the character is a little bit insane (talking to the audience etc). When Wolverine woke up at the end of X-Men: Days Of Future Past, characters he thought were long dead and buried (including characters he watched die and one he was forced to kill himself) are alive and well and have no memory of what happened to them. What if, thanks to Wolverine's exploits, Wade Wilson went through the same thing, but on a more intense and extreme level? Wade Wilson died in the original timeline in 1987, having his head cut off by Wolverine in the final battle of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and his memories probably rebooted when Wolverine's rebooted as a result. The theory states that Wolverine woke up in 2023 at the end of X-Men: Days Of Future Past and that would mean Wade Wilson "remembers" nothing but being dead for 36 years. He would, therefore, recall having to help murder his friends and random people on the command of William Stryker, having been turned into his personal flying monkey, being tortured, mutilated and then being killed. Wolverine had that happen to him as well, but the difference is that he had a lifetime to deal with it - Wade Wilson simply woke up years later as himself again. It would explain a lot about why he's a little bit insane, add an interesting twist to the character, give him a fresh start, make the X-Men: Origins Wolverine version obsolete, but also not make the movie itself a complete and utter waste of time for those who watched it.
