Super Mario Odyssey - 10 Secrets And Easter Eggs Fans Will Love

Our favourite little explorer is back in action once again in Super Mario Odyssey. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker was a criminally overlooked game for the Nintendo Switch. Almost everyone who actually played it loved it, but that’s not really a huge amount of people in the grand scheme of things.

As with many of the slightly more deviously hidden secrets in Odyssey, Captain Toad will pop up from time to time and offer Mario a Power Moon as reward for finding him.

Sometimes there are a complex series of steps you have to take to find Toad on a specific Kingdom, but sometimes he’s literally just stood behind a rock. It’s always a pleasure to see him, regardless. All we need now is a full on Captain Toad sequel for the Switch.
