10 Worst Ever Levels In Hitman Video Games

3. At The Gates - Silent Assassin

Widely considered to be the worst level of the second game, At The Gates is another bridge level, except with more snipers and ninjas that can see through your disguise with frustrating ease, even during a blizzard. The only objective here is to turn off the generators and walk inside, dodging the abundance of guards strutting their funky stuff around the Japanese snow castle.

And that's pretty much it. The previous level was pointless enough, with its omniscient guards that will rush towards you at a mere glance to check your ID (and no, they don't do it to anyone else), and promptly gun you down. On both levels, snipers will take pot-shots at you whether disguised or not, often killing you instantly.

Once again, there is little to no freedom to complete this one in different ways, and a lack of shortcuts or hidden passages has not done this tedious level any favours at all. Those who want to bag a Silent Assassin will have a tough time, though it's not like it will offer any rewards.

Strangely enough, if you manage to do so on the Xbox 360 version, you'll have their account banned for cheating, as if even the console itself believes it would take more than a miracle to breeze through this unharmed.
