There's not much worse than a boring, pointless training mission that you can't breeze through quickly? Blood Money's training mission is a very on-rails exercise to demonstrate the features many long-time fans will already know, alongside a few new additions.

In contrast, Hitman: Contracts' training mission, Asylum Aftermath, had a bit of a linear set of corridors to run down at first. However, players were put under pressure when the SWAT teams arrived to take them down. As a result, the skills they've learned so far had to be put to the test in order to escape in one piece. Important information was offered where necessary.

With Death Of A Showman, it's just follow on-screen prompts, follow on-screen prompts, follow on-screen prompts. Kill guy. Slaughter half of the people in the map. Follow more on-screen prompts. Win level. Realize you can't get a Silent Assassin rating in this snore-fest of a map. Go to kitchen. Get lighter. Set fire to self.

It's just depressing to play; you're encouraged to slaughter most of the people in your way and get spotted on multiple occasions, not that it contributes to your score or anything. In a game where the stealth is key, plodding through while gunning down everyone is not the best way of getting the point across.
