5. Moussa Dembele vs Moussa Sissoko
The battle of the Moussas sees Newcastle's new talismanic midfielder facing off against Spurs' own dynamic midfielder, arguably the best player in the Spurs squad to cope with the Frenchman's abilities. Both players are strong and good on the ball, and both can potentially have a massive influence on the outcome of the game - if either chokes their team will suffer badly, and with the form Sissoko has enjoyed since joining from Toulouse a few short weeks ago, Spurs will be desperately hoping it isn't Dembele. Sissoko is likely to have less space to exploit against Spurs - if AVB has done his homework anyway- and Dembele will be tasked with making sure the Frenchman has less time on the ball to dictate play in the final third, as well as keeping an eye on his position around the box when Newcastle's full-backs attack. It's a big ask for Dembele, but he is more than capable of the task at hand.
