5. 3 Count Vs. Jung Dragons - New Blood Rising

Another ladder match between these two threesomes, this time for a gold record. Surely they would have realised that competing in professional wrestling wasn't the best way to make any headway in the music industry?! It has never worked for anyone. not for anyone I say! Well, compete they did, and although this a TNA X-Division style spot-fest it is also kinda fun at the same time.

The whole thing is helped by Tank Abbott on the outside being an absolute riot, a joy to watch for the only time in his career. Tank really got into the gimmick with 3 count, and it is clear as day to view. This match came less than a month after their three-minute first ladder match, and 3 Count picked up the victory here to even the score.

Again, a total spot-fest, but in WCW's dying days that may well have been the best thing the company could do.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
