10 New Directions For WWE After WrestleMania 41
10. ‘The Man’ Becoming Matriarch
Everyone knew that Becky Lynch's famous entrance track was about to blast over the speakers once Bayley was ruled out of night two. 'The Man' has come back around, and now she's one half of the reigning Women's Tag-Team Champions with Lyra Valkyria. One can see Becky becoming a leader for the division again, albeit not necessarily in front of the cameras.
All sorts of good scenarios can come out of her being back around WWE's locker rooms, because it's clear that Lynch is comfortable in her own skin even if she isn't on top. In short, Becky might well become a much-needed matriarch for the female roster for the rest of 2025. Simply having her back in amongst it just feels right.
Again, there are so many branching paths the writers can go with Lynch. Liv Morgan eventually beating Lyra to become Women’s Intercontinental Champ would be a good plan at some point, then WWE can loop back around to Liv vs. Becky. Lynch said herself during the post-show that she won’t be part time, so there shouldn't be any fears that she'll pull a Rock/Roman Reigns situation by only showing up occasionally.
Having Becks back on Raw or SmackDown (and possibly NXT every so often too) is very much a good thing. She has legacy star power few in the division can claim to match, and she's shown before that she doesn't mind being a team player if the booking is strong and logical.
Get ready for 'Becky: The Matriarch Years'. All going well, it'll be a grand production.
