Every Current WWE Champion - Full List & Updates
Every current WWE champion reigning supreme on Raw, SmackDown and NXT.
There are currently 24 active titles in WWE.
Admittedly, 2 of those look to be show-specific and are hardly an ongoing concern to the weekly product. In fact, the creative team has put them to one side until certain jaunts to Saudi Arabia/Australia/anywhere else internationally come around again. Then, you can expect to hear all about how "important" they are etc etc. Regardless of that 'pick 'em up then put 'em down' approach, both are here for the sake of completion.
Winning any championship under WWE's watch is nothing to sniff at. It's a sure sign that Triple H is encouraged by a wrestler's in-ring work, character progression and/or promo skills. 'The Game' doesn't just stick the belts on anyone. Obviously, that's truer for the top titles than it is for say...some of the lesser belts. They're nowhere near as crucial as some other prizes the men and women on Raw, SmackDown and NXT strive to hold, and some could be considered largely worthless by most fans.
Some straps have taken a while to get going too. Titles like the Women's Intercontinental and United States Championships are still relatively new compared to others, and the Women's Tag-Team straps have always been a headache for the writers penning episodes of TV. Thankfully, WWE managed to find a solution there by finally putting the titles on women who connect with the audience and having backup stories just waiting to be triggered.
Here's every single reigning champion across all 3 major brands and beyond. This will be updated as and when title changes occur, so consider it a handy current guide on who's holding which title in WWE.
Undisputed WWE Champion: Cody Rhodes
Since: 6 March, 2026.
Defeated: Drew McIntyre.
Show: SmackDown.
It looked like the bloom had come off a Cody Rhodes-inspired babyface rose during the build to WrestleMania 42. Scattered boos could be heard throughout many of Cody's matches/promos, but Triple H put the top belt back on him with a win over Drew McIntyre in early-March.
Rhodes then fended off TKO interference via Pat McAfee and defeated Randy Orton to retain the gold in Las Vegas. It'll be interesting to see how WWE handles things with Cody going forwards. He's done a remarkable job as a face, but it surely can't last forever.
World Heavyweight Champion: Roman Reigns
Since: 19 April, 2026.
Defeated: CM Punk.
Show: WrestleMania 42.
Hopes are high that Roman Reigns will work a more regular schedule now he's World Heavyweight Champ. The 'OTC' vanquished CM Punk in a fantastically-told story-based bout at 'Mania 42 in mid-April, and now he's well-placed to run the gauntlet of challengers on Raw.
Recently, Roman rekindled his Bloodline faction with The Usos. He lined up a match vs. Jacob Fatu at Backlash, but there are reports of coming clashes with The Vision's Bronson Reed once he returns from injury too. Both rivals are welcome and well-matched to Reigns.
WWE Women's Champion: Rhea Ripley
Since: 19 April, 2026.
Defeated: Jade Cargil.
Show: WrestleMania 42.
Being brutally honest, Rhea Ripley's feud with ex-Women's Champ and bad bitch bully Jade Cargill was atrocious. Then, the pair smashed it at WrestleMania by delivering a fun match in the end. Ripley and Cargill deserve immense credit for that, but now attention turns to what's next for 'Mami'.
Long-term, it seems she'll split from pal IYO SKY and the pair will joust for the top female prize on offer every Friday. That kind of rivalry will be a welcome boost to SmackDown, assuming it happens sooner than WrestleMania 43 next year.
Women's World Champion: Liv Morgan
Since: 18 April, 2026.
Defeated: Stephanie Vaquer.
Show: WrestleMania 42.
Royal Rumble winner Liv Morgan was hurting going into her clash with Stephanie Vaquer at 'Mania 42. In fact, both women were, and concerns about niggling injuries were used to justify the brevity of their Women's World Title match. In the end, it was Liv who came out on the winning side.
Vaquer has since been written off TV so she can heal up a nasty AC shoulder sprain. Meanwhile, Morgan has been working with the likes of Sol Ruca and surely has matches vs. Judgment Day stablemates like Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez in the pipeline.
WWE Tag-Team Champions: Damian Priest & R-Truth
Since: 20 March, 2026.
Defeated: MFTs (Tama Tonga and JC Mateo).
Show: SmackDown.
The now-released Wyatt Sicks had a brutal stranglehold on SmackDown's tag-team division for far too long. They outright wrecked the momentum squads like The Street Profits, Motor City Machine Guns, Fraxiom, DIY etc had built up on team blue. Then, Solo Sikoa's MFTs got involved to add to the pain train.
In that sense, it's a slight relief that comedy odd couple Damian Priest and R-Truth are the new champs. They've got a good amount of chemistry as partners, so Hunter and the rest of his writing team know they can keep the straps on both for as long as they like.
World Tag-Team Champions: The Vision (Logan Paul & Austin Theory)
Since: 30 March, 2026.
Defeated: The Usos.
Show: Raw.
The Vision faction has experienced a lot of upheaval since last year. Old leader Seth Rollins is out, injuries to key members like Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed ruined WWE's booking plans, and now Logan Paul and Austin Theory are World Tag Champs.
It's funny how things work out.
In fairness, the cocky duo suit the role they're in. The returning Street Profits were lined up early as challengers, but Paul and Theory could theoretically (ahem) work with any double act on Raw and make a good fist of things.
Intercontinental Champion: Penta
Since: 2 March, 2026.
Defeated: Dominik Mysterio
Show: Raw.
Penta will be thrilled that he survived a multi-man ladder defence at WrestleMania 42. That was always gonna be ripe for a title change, but WWE management decided to stick by this Lucha Bro and keep the prized Intercontinental Title on him.
The masked man's first title reign since joining the company has to feel good, especially when he sees how rudderless his brother Rey Fenix has been over on SmackDown. That could've been Penta's fate too, but he's coming across as a much bigger star.
United States Champion: Trick Williams
Since: 19 April, 2026.
Defeated: Sami Zayn.
Show: WrestleMania 42.
Speaking of stars, it's Trick Willy.
He and Sami Zayn pulled off a sensational double turn before, during and after 'Mania 42 in Vegas. Trick has traded heel ego behaviour for babyface ego behaviour, whilst Sami has become a figure to be lambasted by the core audience (much to his own bemusement on TV).
There's no denying that Trick will go on to bigger and better things than the United States Title, but holding that belt for now is a solid spot for him. It looks like his rapper pal Lil Yachty will be sticking around as his would-be manager post-'Mania too.
Women's Intercontinental Champion: Becky Lynch
Since: 18 April, 2026.
Defeated: AJ Lee.
Show: WrestleMania 42.
AJ Lee kissed goodbye to WWE yet again after dropping the Women's Intercontinental Title to Becky Lynch at Allegiant Stadium. Hopes are high internally that AJ will return in time for SummerSlam, or maybe for another top PLE just like it, but she's off the schedules for the time being.
It does feel like order has been restored in the Women's IC division now 'Big Time Becks' is back in the saddle. She's one of Triple H's most reliable stars, and has shown she can work with anyone - Maxxine Dupri, AJ Lee etc. Nothing is off limits for 'The Man'.
Women's United States Champion: Tiffany Stratton
Since: 24 April, 2026.
Defeated: Giulia.
Show: SmackDown.
Tiffany Stratton has felt a bit like the women's division bridesmaid since losing her Women's Title to Jade Cargill last year. In truth, Tiffy's title reign was kitten pee weak after warring with Charlotte Flair during WrestleMania 41 season, so she'll be hopeful of a banging Women's United States Title reign to pull the nose up on her career.
Stratton dethroned Giulia on the 24 April episode of SmackDown. Giulia's handler Kiana James was involved in the screwy finish, so it looks like both are heading for Splitsville. Tiffany will defend her gold against all-comers, but might find it tough to get onto PLEs holding this particular title.
Women's Tag-Team Champions: Paige & Brie Bella
Since: 18 April, 2026.
Defeated: Nia Jax and Lash Legend, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
Show: WrestleMania 42.
An injured Nikki Bella announced that she'd have to pull out of a planned Women's Tag-Team Title challenge at 'Mania 42 alongside sister Brie. However, the returning Paige took her place and won a Fatal-4-Way bout to snag the titles with her old buddy.
The women's tag ranks remain ultra-competitive. WWE has some top teams in there to go along with the new champs - Nia Jax and Lash Legend, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and main roster newbies Fatal Influence could all be viable challengers.
WWE Speed Champion: Lexis King
Since: 21 April, 2026.
Defeated: EK Prosper.
Show: NXT.
Let's be brutally honest: Few fans pay much attention to the Speed Titles or keep tabs on who holds the belt. It sure doesn't help that WWE's deal with social platform X means neither championship appears on Raw or SmackDown. That seems a bit counterproductive, and it was a shame for hopefuls like the offshoot El Grande Americano gimmick that his belt came across as worthless to the core product when he was holding it.
Lexis King won a tournament final over EK Prosper after prior champ Elio LeFleur was struck down by injury.
WWE Women's Speed Champion: Wren Sinclair
Since: 17 March, 2026.
Defeated: Fallon Henley.
Show: NXT.
Inaugural WWE Women's Speed Champion Candice LeRae held that belt for nearly 200 days, but her reign was brought to a halt courtesy of NXT's Sol Ruca. Much like has been the case with both the men's and women's Speed Title, though, Ruca wasn't really seen with that particular piece of gold on WWE programming before getting injured and vacating.
A tournament was announced to crown the new champ, then Fallon Henley beat Sol's pal Zaria to win it. Since then, Wren Sinclair has taken over from the main roster bound Henley.
NXT Champion: Tony D'Angelo
Since: 4 April, 2026.
Defeated: Ricky Saints, Joe Hendry, Ethan Page.
Show: NXT: Stand & Deliver.
What a journey WWE has been for Tony D'Angelo. There was a time when he would've been considered a near-impossibility to become NXT's top champion, but that day arrived on 4 April with a 4-way win over former champ Joe Hendry, Ethan Page and Ricky Saints.
D'Angelo was there when New Japan's EVIL (or whatever WWE plans to call him now he's on the books) debuted on the third brand. He's also been attacked by some other newcomers, so it looks like Tony has his hands full midweek.
NXT Women's Champion: Lola Vice
Since: 4 April, 2026.
Defeated: Jacy Jayne, Kendal Grey.
Show: NXT: Stand & Deliver.
Shawn Michaels sees a lot of potential in Lola Vice, which is why she became the brand new NXT Women's Champion at Stand & Deliver in early-April. WWE shifted NXT's show away from WrestleMania weekend, so there wasn't as much shine on the event as there could've been otherwise.
Even so, this was a massive moment in Vice's career to date. Bonus points for that GTA nod with the 'Vice City' t-shirt too. That's a lovely touch, and smart marketing considering GTA 6 is about to drop. Sorry, couldn't resist mentioning that. Smell the excitement!
NXT North American Champion: Myles Borne
Since: 24 February, 2026.
Defeated: Ethan Page.
Show: NXT.
NXT North American Champion and top prospect Myles Borne has been compared to a young Randy Orton. No pressure then! To his credit, Borne has been delivering the goods, and he toppled Ethan Page to win gold (then celebrate with a soon-to-be-changed Canadian belt) in late-February.
Things are looking up for Myles. How long will it be before he drops the North American and starts agitating for a jump up to Raw or SmackDown? That maybe isn't as far off as some folks think. This is one ultra-talented dude.
NXT Women's North American Champion: Tatum Paxley
Since: 7 March, 2026.
Defeated: Izzi Dame.
Show: NXT: Vengeance Day.
Former NXT Women's North American Champ Blake Monroe is main roster bound, so that has opened doors for the likes of Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley to show up and show out on the developmental brand themselves. Paxley beat Dame at Vengeance Day to seize the title, which was a cool occasion for her personally.
Tatum looked genuinely overcome as she hoisted the belt high above her head and celebrated. She's one to watch. Hell, practically the entire NXT roster is.
NXT Tag-Team Titles: The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes)
Since: 24 February, 2026.
Defeated: DarkState (Osiris Griffin and Saquon Shugars).
Show: NXT.
The Vanity Project has blue chip goodness aplenty. These clean cut workers beat DarkState's Osiris Griffin and Saquon Shugars on a late-February episode of NXT; their win came on the same edition that housed Myles Borne's North American Title success, so this was a busy show for Shawn Michaels and company.
Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes should enjoy a lengthy reign, but only time will tell if they're a flash in the pan or have serious breakout potential.
WWE Men's Crown Jewel Champion: Seth Rollins
Since: 11 October, 2025.
Defeated: Cody Rhodes.
Show: Crown Jewel.
There were skeptical glances aplenty when Triple H unveiled the new Crown Jewel Championships on TV ahead of WWE's trip to Saudi Arabia in November 2024. Dual 'Champion vs. Champion' bouts were set up. Cody Rhodes vs. GUNTHER was one of them, and it was Cody who took the freakishly large Crown Jewel belt on the night. Then, he left the title in Saudi.
Come 2025, WWE moved the PLE to Perth, Australia and had Seth supplant Cody as men's Crown Jewel champion. Again, they barely mentioned it once Perth was in the rear view mirror.
WWE Women's Crown Jewel Champion: Stephanie Vaquer
Since: 11 October, 2025.
Defeated: Tiffany Stratton.
Show: Crown Jewel.
Similarly, there isn't much to write home about when it comes to the Women's Crown Jewel Title. Then-Women's World Champion Liv Morgan won it by beating then-Women's Champ Nia Jax in Saudi in 2024. She posed inside the ring with Cody Rhodes and Triple H before leaving the gigantic belt backstage for somebody else to cart about.
A year or so later, Crown Jewel 2025 took place in Australia and Liv was nowhere to be found. She'd been injured since June, to be fair, so rising favourite Stephanie Vaquer beat Tiffany Stratton to wear the freakishly large title for a few minutes.
WWE Evolve Champion: Aaron Rourke
Since: 20 February, 2026.
Defeated: Jackson Drake.
Show: Evolve.
Aaron Rourke cut an impassioned promo after beating Jackson Drake to become the new WWE Evolve Champion. Honestly, winning that guarantees nothing, but it does show that some in the WWE offices are paying attention to what you're doing as a talent.
Rourke will know that.
WWE Evolve Women's Champion: Wendy Choo
Since: 20 March, 2026.
Defeated: Pinned Nikkita Lyons in 8-woman Gauntlet.
Show: Evolve.
Ex-NXT stalwart Wendy Choo pinned Nikkita Lyons in an 8-deep Gauntlet bout to become brand new WWE Evolve Women's Champion in late-March. Others involved in the match? Tyra Mae Steele (who has since been released), Kali Armstrong, Laynie Luck, Sloane Jacobs, Karmen Petrovic and PJ Vasa.
Choo has worked hard to achieve this sort of recognition, whether it's on a lower tier show like Evolve or not.
WWE ID Champion: Chazz 'Starboy' Hall
Since: 23 March, 2026.
Defeated: Cappuccino Jones.
Show: Beyond Wrestling: 'One Of These Nights'.
WWE established both ID Titles in February 2025 as part of a recruitment drive aimed squarely at keeping tabs on the best the independent scene has to offer. In a neat touch, Triple H said that any workers who win each championship but aren't already signed to an ID contract will be brought onboard and offered terms.
That's quite the dangling carrot for young workers on the indy circuit. Cappuccino Jones became the first male ID Champ on a Game Changer Wrestling-promoted showcase event in early August right before SummerSlam, but he lost it to 'Starboy' Hall above on a Beyond Wrestling card in March 2026.
WWE Women's ID Champion: Laynie Luck
Since: 17 November, 2025.
Defeated: Notorious Mimi, Brittnie Brooks, Shannon Levangie, Airica Demia and Tiara James.
Show: Wrestling Open RI.
Former AEW, TNA and NWA star Kylie Rae became the first female ID Champ, but then vacated the belt due to maternity leave on 22 September. That later led to Laynie Luck winning the title in a 6-woman elimination match on an independent show in mid-Novmeber.
Luck looked overwhelmed when posing with the title and some other WWE ID props. Good on her.
