Although they're usually at odds in any comic, Huntress and Batman did work together for a time. It's weird, really, as them working together is integral to their strained relationship - as it seems as though every time the pair team up, Huntress either breaks Batman's rules on purpose, or is otherwise held up to incredibly weird standards by the Dark Knight.

At their closest - after the events of No Man's Land, where she would prove invaluable - Batman would try and get Huntress into the Justice League, as he felt this would work to curb the violent tendencies that usually put the two at odds. However, he would cancel this move after Helena almost killed the supervillain Prometheus, as he sensed she was too violent to be allowed into a superhero team that represented the best of the best.

After the 2011 DC reboot, Huntress' backstory would be retconned so the pair didn't share this complicated history of animosity, meaning their dynamic could change for the better in any potential future team-ups.
