7. Final Exam (1.1)
From Teen Titan's pseudo-series finale, we now move on to Final Exam, which was the series premiere. More importantly, it was a series premiere that was arguably the single best way to introduce audiences to this version of the Titans.
Right off the bat, the lighthearted aspects of the show's tone are established, we are introduced to the characters in an endearing way, and before long, we're seeing them being schooled by an upstart group of super villains. These villains, Jinx, Gizmo, and Mammoth, are the star students of the H.I.V.E villain academy and are tasked with defeating the Titans as their final exam.
It soon becomes clear that the Titans are at the point in their partnership where they're not yet meshing as a team and their adversaries much better version of teamwork allows them to beat the team into submission. And in a redemption story that all but establishes the aforementioned theme of unity that Teen Titans would become known for, we are given an exceptionally entertaining premiere that helped set the stage for the years of great content this show would go on to bring to the table.
