Finding the right niche audience for comics can be incredibly hard - especially when there is such a large potential audience of children that has yet to be fully tapped into with the comic market.

Perhaps the weirdest attempt DC ever made to tap into said market has to be making separate universes wherein adorable humanised animals exist alongside our favourite superheroes - the absolute pinnacle of which has to be the immaculately named Captain Carrot. Seeing Superman next to these anthropomorphic nightmares is something uniquely horrific, and as such, kind of impressive at the same time.

Although all of these attempts failed, were DC to try again, they might find Captain Carrot gets a fair amount of popularity between both children and the similarly untapped furry market.
