10 Dumbest Batman Moments You Won't Believe

1. Rat Eater Robin - All Star Batman And Robin, The Boy Wonder

The All Star Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder mini-series is dumb comics at their best. From it's mouthful of a name, to it's out of character cast, and grim-dark plot that feels like a parody. The thing that really sets this series above the others is how beautifully brought to life it is. Every panel a sincerely rendered gorgeous depiction of absolutely batsh*tery (pun intended).

There's a lot of causal dumb stuff going on: like Vicky Vale taking a video call with Alfred while wearing her next-to-no-nothings, or Batman and the Black Canary having public sex in front of the burning bodies of a bunch of dead and dying thugs.

Then there's the super stupid stuff: Batman has creepily had his eye on child gymnast Dick Grayson for a while. When the child's parents are shot in front of him, Batman decides to kidnap the boy: immediately being both physically and verbally abusive to the traumatized 12-year-old.

In the freezing Batcave the soon to be Robin asks for some new clothing. Batman naturally acts unhinged so the boy has to apologize for the request - it's just his dead parents "blood and stuff" all over him.

Batman does not bring him clothing and then gets pissed off at Alfred for finally feeding the kid. Batman is shocked and incensed that his butler would stand up to him and blames the child for Alfred stepping out of line. With Alfred properly chastised, the child is reduced to eating rats. Truly a beautiful fever dream of stupid.

West loves pop culture, movies, comics and TV-shows just as much as you do. Probably. Since you're reading this. Also, she has a cat. He's pretty awesome.
