DC's answer to Robin Hood, Green Arrow is known for his traditional green attire, his archery skills and his witty commentary. On the surface, he was simply billionaire businessman/socialite Oliver Queen, but in reality, he sought out injustice and even went on to became a champion of underprivileged people in the 1970s.

Though Green Arrow shares quite a few similarities with another DC vigilante, he has done more than enough to set himself apart. He wasn't always at the forefront of the major storylines, but he has always been a significant presence, doing his part to entertain comic book fans.

Interestingly, Green Arrow was also one of the few characters to survive the decline of the Golden Age of comic books and thus, never had to undergo any drastic changes for the rise of the Silver Age. Even to this day, he has maintained the vast majority of his original attributes.

Known to modern day audiences for his acclaimed DC Rebirth storyline, as well as Stephen Amell's portrayal in The CW series Arrow, the Green Arrow's legacy has sustained itself over the years and will undoubtedly do so for many more.
