10 Mind Blowing Facts You Didn't Know About Venom

6. The Venom Symbiote Created Carnage

Although the aforementioned Spidey show had Cletus Kasady get his suit from a separate alien being - at the behest of Dormammu no less - the character's comic book origin is far less spectacular, with Carnage having formed from the original Venom suit itself.

Much like they do in the series, Brock and Kasady share a cell in prison. When Eddie's suit returns to him, it leaves behind its offspring on the floor. Cletus being, well, Cletus, he forgoes the five second rule and bonds with the floor baby, becoming Carnage in the process. The rest is history, and with the character having gone on to make dozens of appearances later, it's fair to say he's a popular one. Creepy, but popular all the same.

So yeah, Carnage is - quite literally - Venom's son. Dwell on that how you will.
