This is not only the type of book we would buy for our kids, but for adults too. The all-female group of Lumberjanes gives the book a fresh feeling but never uses that premise as a crutch or selling point. They are friends, adventurers, kids and heroes all at once, that just happen to be girls. It's always awesome to have more empowering, realistic and relatable female characters in a predominantly male artform, but above all else this is a book that's just plain fun for everyone involved. I guarantee you will leave each issue with a smile.
