Jigsaw is Billy Russo - a professional criminal and a brutal assassin for the notorious Maggia crime family who was nicknamed "the Beaut" because of his good looks. He was responsible for the deaths of Frank Castle's family and, as a result, is an arch-enemy of Castle's alter-ego the Punisher. When Castle caught up with him at a Maggia nightclub, as well as killing several of his criminal associates, he threw Russo through a window head-first, which resulted in his face being ripped to pieces. As a result, doctors had to stitch it back together like a jigsaw and the scars that were left were permanent, hence his name. Jigsaw is a decent street fighter in peak physical condition due to his training in jail. He's a master strategist and tactician, as well as an expert user of guns - which he always carries. He sometimes wears a special exo-skeleton that enhances his physical prowess.
