Of all the heroes introduced in the Infinity Saga, it's difficult to name one who didn't get involved in a battle. Although it's tempting to showcase mutations in fight scenes, the MCU should take a page from X-Men: TAS and let a few sit on the sidelines.

Originally, the writers of X-Men: TAS planned on keeping Beast out of the main cast, which is why he was imprisoned during the first season. However, his character was written so well that he became a show favorite. His kindness, intelligence, and morality provided a unique perspective in the group.

Although he was involved in conflict, Vision's musings on his existence and relationship with Wanda provided a deeper commentary that the MCU needed more of. Imagine if they let Mark Ruffalo portray only Bruce Banner for one or two films before letting Hulk break free.

The MCU should consider removing a top-tier mutant from the battlefield, and instead, let us explore that character’s development from a unique angle. Characters like Rogue could refuse to use her new powers if she absorbs Captain Marvel's. Cyclops could portray more of a Nick Fury role than being the X-Men's field leader.
