10 Things You Didn't Know About Thor

6. There've Been Several Thors

This doesn't just count for Jane Foster's Thor either; there've been a ton of different Gods of Thunder over the years.

The most bizarre and perhaps outlandish of these has to be Beta Ray Bill, a Korbinite alien who yes, looks like a horse, but still has the ability to rock that Asgardian aesthetic when he needs to. After winning Mjolnir from Thor in an Odin-sanctioned battle to the death, the almighty God forged Bill a new weapon - Stormbreaker - and he's been out Thor-ing things ever since.

Then there's Throg, the aforementioned 'Thor Frog' who, while small in stature, is as mighty as they come. A human turned frog (it's complicated), Simon Walterson was gifted the power of Thor after a terrible war between his adoptive Frog clan and some evil looking rats. He now wields Frogjoilnir, and does a good a job as any of protecting NYC.

There are Thors of the future, past and present, and while none can compare to Donald Blake in terms of popularity or depth (save for Jane), they're more than worthy in their own right.
