3. JLA: Tower Of Babel
With the vast majority of Batman's outsmarting moments aimed at undermining supervillains, it's particularly interesting to see one of few times that Batman's skills were aimed against his fellow Justice League members.
The most brutal case of this hides within the Justice League America arc that goes by the name of the 'Tower of Babel', where it is revealed that Batman has contingency plans prepared to take out any and every member of the Justice League - something they find out when Ra's Al Ghul steals these plans and actives them.
The rest of the team are justifiably not best pleased, and this serves to highlight one particularly important part of Batman's ability to outsmart everyone; in that sometimes it returns to bite him in the kevlar-clad ass.
Although the heroes do eventually stop Ra's, the fact it was the Dark Knight's scheme in the first place sets his teammates totally against him, and results in him being kicked out of the Justice League in the same issue, in a move that neither party can be quite blamed for.
