10 Times Doctor Strange Outsmarted Everyone

In a move that's hilariously manipulative for a superhero, one of the earlier exploits of Doctor Strange saw him manipulate both the Hulk and Namor into helping him stop an impending invasion of Earth. Worried neither hero would help him were he to merely ask, the sorcerer decided to convince them through a series of events that would 'coincidentally' bring the heroes to him.

Each hero had their own issue specifically dedicated to the method through which the Sorcerer Supreme manipulated them; with Namor being convinced through a series of weird dreams and a poem, and the Hulk through what can only be described as a weird magical frat hazing.

Both plans somehow worked, with the heroes contributing their full efforts to the fight, unaware they had been purposefully brought there by Strange.

While Doctor Strange later felt incredible guilt about having used the two superheroes, he notably never mentions the true nature of what happened to either of them, despite the fact he has worked with both several times afterward - suggesting that, while the Doctor feels bad, he doesn't feel bad enough to come clean.
