3. Beppo
Just like the United States sending primates into space to test rockets, Jor-El, Superman's father, sent a monkey from Krypton to test the viability of his escape plan for his son. Beppo went on to stow away on the ship that took Superman to Earth and spent several months in the jungle before tracking down a now toddling Clark Kent.
After causing some havoc in Smallville, an accident with some fireworks scared him into space but he would return to interact with both a growing Superman and Supergirl.
It would be Supergirl who would introduce him to Krypto and Streaky who would somewhat rein in his mischief when he joined the Legion of Super Pets. Like all wildlife of Kryptonian origin, Beppo has similar abilities to Superman, including strength, flight and heat vision, but they are proportional to his smaller side. He often uses these powers to cause mischief although he is never intentionally malicious.
His mischief-making ways proved problematic enough that Superboy was forced to lead him into space and lose him there to stop the chaos he caused.
