Just about every superpower Superman possesses has the word "Super" in front of it, but that distinction doesn't mean it's something he uses often. Powers like Super Hearing and Super Speed are always present, but what about something weirder, like Super Hypnotism?

Super Hypnotism isn't a power he used once and eventually lost; he used it a ton up until the 1970s. The reader would know he was using it when a yellow light would emit from the Man of Steel's eyes, covering a person in the glow. This managed to hypnotize them to do whatever Superman wanted or needed.

The first time he used the ability came in the pages of Action Comics #38 all the way back in 1941. In the story, Superman hypnotizes a psychologist named Harold Morton to turn himself in to the police. He used it again in Superman #330 when he bested a hypnotist named Spellbinder at his own game.

In the same issue, it was explained that his Super Hypnosis power was somewhat different. Instead of hypnotizing people directly, he uses his ability to keep people from seeing Clark Kent for what he really is. It's explained that this is achieved via Kryptonian Plexiglass more than anything else.
