3. Quicksilver
Quicksilver is one of the most well-known members of The Avengers. Joining alongside his sister the Scarlet Witch as part of Captain America's "Kooky Quartet", Pietro has been part of some of The Avenger's most classic storylines. He's also a gigantic tool.
Defined by his arrogance and impatience, Quicksilver seems to spend a lot of his time bickering with his fellow Avengers or trying to prove how great he is. He even initially tried to take over the team, only to get captured by Mole Man on his first mission, which is the superhero equivalent of failing a tutorial level.
The only time Quicksilver isn't being a jerk as part of The Avengers is when he's being a jerk as one of their enemies instead. Pietro has a history of falling back into his old evil ways at the first opportunity. When Wanda was seemingly shot, he instantly turned on his his friends and rejoined Magneto's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants (not even suspecting that maybe the evil guy who controls metal might have staged the whole thing). Then he would later become a villain again for a while after Maximus the Mad drove him insane.
Worst of all, he was the one who pushed Scarlet Witch to depower 90% of mutants and later caused several deaths trying to use Terrigen Crystals to restore his powers.
Why do The Avengers keep letting this guy back in?
