10 Worst Things The Flash Has Ever Done

5. Messing With The Space-Time Continuum - Flashpoint

The Flash Resurrected
DC Comics

For any other hero, trying to save their own mother's life would in no way be considered a sketchy deed, especially when it coincidentally also would keep their father out of jail. But for a hero who can alter the past, such as the Flash, this becomes significantly more complex.

As the entire Flashpoint event, and all the world-threatening shenanigans that come as a result of it, all occur because Barry Allen decided to try and go back in time to save his mother, Nora Allen.

It's a gesture done with good intentions, but given Barry's experiences with time travel, you'd think he'd be aware of the potentially catastrophic effects that this action could have on the timeline as a whole.

Really, it's a shame the Flash has apparently never seen Back to the Future, as this alone would have informed him that trying to change the past is unlikely to ever truly work out.
