While the Justice League's forcible mindwiping of Doctor Light is pretty well known, there is one similar case that is comparatively ignored: that of the Flash's decision to do something worse to the villain known as the Top.

After Dillon is responsible for a series of terrible things happening to Barry Allen, he decides to try and end this issue for once and for all, asking Zatanna to totally rewire the villain's head to make him want to be a hero.

Frustratingly though, Flash appears to show no concern for his newly acquired teammate, stating that "Roscoe Dillon wasn't a person to me. He was an experiment." With this kind of dazzling care for the newly reformed criminal, it's perhaps not surprising that the Top completely loses his mind within the week, having been internally ruined by the magic used on him.

Worse yet, because the Top had been possessing someone else during all of this, these actions also totally ruined the life of an innocent civilian - their existence completely destroyed by someone who never even learned his name.
