6. Heroes Worthy Of The Green Lantern's Power
Beyond the core human Lanterns, other heroes that wore the ring include Batman, Black Canary, the Flash, Batgirl and Superman. While this in a way negates the Corps' strict rules, it also highlights the immense willpower of these heroes as well as the competence of the initially chosen Lanterns.
In some continuities, it was revealed that Superman was a candidate for joining the Corps but was overlooked due to the fact that he originated from a different sector than Hal or Guy.
