7. David Bowie's Ex-Wife Wanted To Create A Black Widow/Daredevil TV Series
In 1975, David Bowie's wife managed to get her hands on the television rights for Black Widow and Daredevil from Stan Lee. She hoped to use it to showcase her own acting abilities, casting herself as Black Widow and Ben Carruthers as Daredevil. To try and get a network to give a show the green light, several photos were taken with them in costume. Unfortunately for Bowie, not even the help of her husband's Ziggy Stardust era costume designer Natasha Kornikoff to create new looks for Daredevil and Black Widow helped, and no interest was shown in the series. You can't help but wonder what might have been though; after all, there's no doubt that David Bowie might have made some sort of cameo!
