5 Comic Book Candidates Who'd Make Good Presidents & 5 Who Wouldn't

4. Nick Fury

There's no question that Nick Fury can run people quite successfully. He's been the long-time head of SHIELD because of his leadership abilities. But he's not beyond getting his hands a bit too dirty and acting out a bit to get his way. He doesn't do well with authority or compromise and can definitely get to be far too brash for his own good. He also likes secrets a bit too much. He defies when he can defy for his own means, and let's just be perfectly clear here: he's had some sensationally stupid political ideas. He was definitely right to go into hiding after brainwashing a select group of superheroes after bringing them together to topple foreign government. Although, I can't lie. A president with an eye-patch would probably be one of the most badass things to ever put on our currency.

Cameron Carpenter is an aspiring screenwriter, current film and journalism student, and self-diagnosed cinephile, which only sounds bad in certain circles. Devoted fan of comics, movies, theater, Jesus Christ, Sidney Lumet, and Peter O'Toole, he sometimes spends too much time on his Scribd and comicbookmovie.com, but doesn't think you're one to judge, devoted reader. You can follow him on Twitter to watch him talk to people you didn't know exist. Oh, and Daredevil is quite the big deal around here (my head).
