5 DC Resurrections Done Right (And 5 That Sucked)

Done Wrong...

5. Jason Todd - Under The Hood (Book)

Now the bad, which brings us back to Under the Hood.

As was previously mentioned, Under the Hood was conceived in the aftermath of Batman: Hush, which had raised the possibility of Jason Todd actually being alive. The problems, however, potentially go beyond the mere fact that the method of Todd's return felt off, but rather how the character's been used in the years since.

Todd is the bad boy of the Bat-family, and over the course of having been made into the anti-hero known as Red Hood has fostered a pretty devoted fan following. To say that he's vindicated his resurrection on the page, however, would just be disingenuous.

Sure, Todd provides an interesting perspective in relation to Batman and his allies, but his comics over the last decade in particular have often been formulaic, clichéd, and unadventurous. Point being, Todd is still yet to justify his return, even 15 years after it happened.
