8 Greatest Punisher Crossover Stories

Gotham City is considered the most dangerous city in the DC Universe. Vigilantes, mad scientists and criminals flood the metropolis, making it hard for justice to prevail. While on the hunt of one of his greatest foes, Punisher’s journey leads him to a factory in Gotham. Once there, he guns down several henchmen in search of the mob boss Jigsaw.

Bullets fly in the altercation, which captures the attention of Batman, who prevents Castle from killing Jigsaw’s henchmen. The two engage in a battle of ideologies and fists, before Frank manages to get away. Later, Castle is able to locate Jigsaw at a night club. Turns out, he had been working with the Joker, in the hopes of taking over Gotham. A shootout ensues, and Batman arrives to protect his turf.

Now fighting on the same side, Batman and Punisher take on each other’s villains, with Batman arresting Jigsaw, and Punisher chasing Joker. In a dark alley, Joker pleads for his life, and just before Castle shoots him dead, Batman steps in, and Joker escapes. The two duke it out one last time, with Batman winning the bout.

Batman warns Frank to never visit Gotham again, and Punisher returns to his life of warfare.
