8 Most Powerful Beings Hulk Has Defeated

1. Onslaught

Few comics typify the sheer absurdity of nineties Marvel than Onslaught, a storyline that saw Professor X and Magneto merge into one, unstoppable being that forced all of Earth's heroes to confront him.

Onslaught emerged shortly after the Fatal Attractions arc, which saw the Professor mentally destroy Magneto after he'd ripped the adamantium clean from Wolverine's body. After some mental hijinks, an alternate personality (dubbed Onslaught) manifests itself and transfers to a robotic vessel. He captures Franklin Richards, and decides to transform the Earth's population into one collective consciousness. Because evil, obviously.

Swatting aside the X-Men, Avengers and dozens of other Marvel heroes with ease, Jean Grey resorts to repressing Banner's psyche within the Hulk, leaving him to devolve into a savage and unrestrained iteration of the character. The gloves are off, and this new Hulk tears apart Onslaught's android body with ease, eventually causing an explosion that separates himself and Banner physically.

Onslaught turns into a being of pure energy as a direct consequence - forcing the rest of Earth's Mightiest Heroes into one last gambit to save the day - but there's no denying Hulk was the only one capable of winning the physical contest.
