Although the Inhumans TV show is set to be the live action debut of the Royal Family, concepts like terrigen mist, terrigenesis, and those born with the Inhuman gene, have already appeared in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
The show establishes the existence of Inhumans in its second season, with further introduction to the concepts in its third. The Inhumans are a big part of the series, with their creation by the Kree being explained as going back as far as the Mayans.
During the third season, Agent Phil Coulson is determined to continue his secret mission of creating a team of Inhumans called the Secret Warriors.
